Nineteen talented high school students from our region took part in the regional stage of the 51st Technical Knowledge Olympiad!

On January 8th, at the University of Zielona Góra, the best young physicists, mathematicians, and mechatronics specialists faced challenging tasks under the theme "Engineering in Power Engineering." Within 2.5 hours, they had to solve at least two out of three complex technical problems.

What’s next for the best contestants?

The most talented students will compete in Warsaw this April for a chance to advance to the national finals! Those who succeed at the regional stage are guaranteed admission to the University of Zielona Góra, while national finalists will have the opportunity to choose any technical university in Poland!

Professor Andrzej Pieczyński emphasized the importance of the power engineering sector:
"This is a field in great need of specialists. Energy is the driving force of industry."

Congratulations to all participants, and best of luck in the next stage!
