EUNICE - European University

We are pleased to announce that the University of Zielona Góra has been accepted as an associate partner of the EUNICE4U project.

EUNICE, the European University for Customized Education, is an innovative alliance of European universities whose mission is to transform higher education into a more flexible, personalized system tailored to the needs of modern society. The alliance was established under the initiative of the European Commission, aiming to strengthen cooperation between universities from different European countries. This alliance focuses on the internationalization of education, the development of joint curricula, and the promotion of research and innovation.

As part of EUNICE, students have the opportunity to take advantage of online courses, participate in international exchange programs, and pursue personalized educational paths that meet their individual needs and aspirations.

The EUNICE alliance is part of the broader European Universities initiative, which aims to create integrated networks of universities functioning as a single academic entity. Thanks to this, students can freely choose modules and courses at various partner universities and obtain joint degrees. This initiative supports the development of education, strengthens European identity, promotes cultural diversity, and facilitates the mobility of both students and academic staff.

The EUNICE alliance consists of the following universities:

  • Université de Mons (Belgium) – a university with traditions, specializing in technical and social sciences.
  • Poznan University of Technology (Poland) – one of the leading technical universities in Poland, known for its innovative research and international collaboration.
  • University of Cantabria (Spain) – a university with a strong research background, particularly in engineering and the sciences.
  • University of Catania (Italy) – the oldest university in Sicily, offering a wide range of study programs.
  • University of Vaasa (Finland) – a university focused on business, technology, and sustainable development.
  • University of the Peloponnese (Greece) – a dynamically developing university with a rich offering of interdisciplinary programs.

  • University of Hauts-de-France (France) – a university with a strong emphasis on innovation and cooperation with industry.
  • Instituto Politécnico de Viseu (Portugal) – an institution offering a practical approach to education and research.

As an associate partner of this prestigious alliance, the University of Zielona Góra plays an important role in achieving these objectives. Collaboration with EUNICE opens up new opportunities for the university in terms of internationalization, exchange of experiences, and jointly shaping the future of higher education in Europe. It is also a chance to strengthen the position of the University of Zielona Góra on the international stage and to develop innovative educational and research projects.

EUNICE is a unique project that brings together universities with diverse profiles and traditions, united in their efforts to create a modern and inclusive system of higher education.

For the University of Zielona Góra, this is an opportunity to establish cooperation with leading academic centers in Europe, exchange knowledge and experiences, and introduce new standards in education and scientific research.
